After qualifying from university in 2002, Matthew joined the NHS where he worked for 10 years as a senior osteopath. During that time, he also ran weekly Western acupuncture clinics, taught Pilates classes and acted as Operational Lead for the department.

He now works as Head of Professional Development for the Institute of Osteopathy, Director of Therapies for Arthritis Action and treats patients privately at Netherne Osteopathic Practice.
