I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. 

I have 13 years experience and am the principle practitioner at Bucks Osteopathy with clinics in Amersham, Chesham, Beaconsfield, Hazlemere and a newly opened clinic in Gerrards Cross.

The techniques I use are based on current medical research gained from regularly updating my learning by attending post graduate courses, regional osteopathic meetings and study groups (I have completed 15 days of courses in the last year alone!). 

Although the majority of my work centres around treatment of back, neck, hip, knee, ankle, shoulder pain, headaches and sports injuries, my area of special interest lies in the treatment of sciatica or "trapped nerves" leading to leg or arm pain. I have done extensive training with the Barral Institute using the very latest research based techniques. This a very gentle approach working fascia (the body's connective tissue) which patients have found to be effective.

My second area of special interest is in pregnancy and post natal conditions as well as babies and children using cranial osteopathy (being a mum of four myself!). Again I have trained for 18 months with the National Childbirth Trust and attended paediatrics courses. I also practice acupuncture which can be a gentle and quick way of reducing pain as well as sports taping and Pilates based exercises for rehabilitation.

I aim to provide a professional service within a safe and caring environment and keep the patient at the centre of what I do. I want people to know that I have their best interests at heart and aim to treat everyone I see with patience, understanding and empathy.

I am registered with all health insurance and can normally offer emergency appointments on the same day.
